Our final stop was Steam Town National Park Site
in Scranton, PA.
Steam Town shows the history of the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad in
Scranton.
During the summer, they have a camp at the museum to show teens about jobs on the railroad. Once a week a AmTrak train visits the site for the camp participants.

One of the operating steam engines at the museum. This 4-6-2, Pacific Type engine was built in 1923 and was in service until 1959. The engine weighs 450,000 pounds and there are only two of its type in existence today.
